About
Madi McCullough is a Los Angeles-based artist known for her mesmerizing acrylic sculptures. She has collaborated with major brands like Wikipedia and Smarties and exhibited with galleries including Gallery 612. Drawing inspiration from disposable culture and modern textures, her work nods to the Light & Space and Surrealism movements.
Using industrial processes with a hands-on approach, Madi heats large acrylic sheets until they're briefly pliable, then molds them by hand into fluid, unpredictable forms, frozen mid-transformation as they cool and harden. The result is a body of work that reflects the surreal beauty of the contemporary environment.
